We pay for the things the school budget cannot stretch to, and we run the events that raise the money.
Where the money goes
Every penny of profit goes to the school. Year after year, that means:
Music for every child
The Listen to Me programme from Hampshire Music Services, for the whole school.
School trips
Coaches for every class, so cost is never the reason a class stays behind.
Classroom equipment
Chosen by the teachers who will use it.
Books and reading
Reading books, and the reading records every child takes home.
A welcome and a send-off
A book bag for every new Reception child, and a gift and framed photograph for every Year 6 leaver.
Outdoor play
Play equipment and the school grounds.
Our year
Most of what we raise comes from events that come round every year. Some have been running for well over a decade, and they are as much about the village as the money.
